Gridiron Football - Fox Valley Season Begins

Flag football program for boys, girls, and co-eds ages 5-17 with all skill levels welcome. Gridiron Football is the only program in the state that mandates the use of soft helmets or protective headbands, mouthguards, and cleats for athlete safety along with natural grass fields. Only a one day a week commitment as the practices and games align in the same day. Player fees include jersey and matching shorts, flag belt, and mouthguard. Our program is dedicated to not only development, but community. Each week will have a charity to be recognized each week in the community along with other fun and surprises. Division champions at the end of the season win championship rings and second place receives metals. Come be a part of the league recently recognized at the Jordan Love Softball Game and see what we're trying to build in the area.

Game Dates are: Aug. 29, Sept 12, Sept 19, Sept 26, & Oct 3
230-330 pm = Practice / Warmup time
330-630 pm = Games (1-2 games per weekend depending on numbers of athletes)
All games are played with flags, no tag here. We teach the basic fundamentals of the game and prep and further develop skills to be used by athletes who are looking to or already play tackle football. Learn about proper angles, route trees, coverages, how to line up properly, etc. No experience? No problem. There are no super teams in our league, and everyone receives playing time as our coaches rotate to ensure all athletes become comfortable with all coaches. Skill evaluation is Saturday, August 1st at Doyle Park at 2pm.
