About

  1. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we focus on youth flag football and the development of players. Our league includes boys', girls', and co-ed leagues for children aged 5 to 17 years. Gridiron Football aims to help new players by introducing them to the essential aspects of flag football with teams that are evenly matched in skills. Furthermore, Gridiron Football - WI is structured to challenge everyone from the newest to the top youth athletes in the area.

Our advisory committee is composed of former NFL players, local community leaders, and coaches. We currently offer both fall and spring leagues and are in the process of establishing a statewide traveling team in preparation for the upcoming 2028 Olympic Games. We have locations in Green Bay and will be expanding to the Fox Valley in Fall 2026. Beyond the sport of football, our athletes learn the significance of community involvement and the impact they can make off the field. In the 2025-2026 period, Gridiron is proud to have participated in over 30 community events and initiatives, along with making donations to various community organizations throughout Green Bay and the Fox Cities. While Gridiron operates on a national level, this primarily pertains to our namesake and the eventual National Tournament opportunities. At present, our focus in Wisconsin is on each athlete and their families, encouraging their input while also seeking their feedback. We are a family-run organization and take great pride in the number of scholarships we have awarded since our establishment in the state in August 2024. This year, we achieved record levels of equipment and player fee donations across our communities to ensure that no player or family is overlooked. More than just the sport of football, our athletes are educated on the importance of community service and making a positive impact off the field. Currently, our emphasis in Wisconsin is on each athlete and their families, encouraging their input while also requesting theirs in return. We are a family-operated organization and take pride in the number of scholarships we have distributed since our takeover in the state in August 2024. This year, we set new records in both equipment and player fee donations across our communities to ensure that no player or family is left behind.

Our league is committed to ensuring child safety, which is why we require background checks for all coaches and staff, along with the use of soft helmets and mouthguards for all players. Each participant receives a uniform that can be customized with their last name on the back, as well as a flag belt. Do not be deceived by the size of a program; often, smaller is better, especially in the initial stages. Your child will benefit from increased attention from coaches, will have the chance to form connections with others in the program, and will experience the sense of family, faith, and humility that we all seek. Our coaches are prepared to motivate both new and seasoned athletes who are eager to learn. It does not matter if your child is the quietest, the loudest, or struggles with social anxiety; everyone is welcomed at Gridiron Football. We are always on the lookout for additional players, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors. (Experience is not necessary; a great attitude and a willingness to learn are what we value.) Financial and time commitments are limited, allowing you to focus on what is most important—your family. For more information, please check our website or social media. We encourage you to read some of the recent reviews from families since our takeover in late 2024, as they may reflect similar experiences or past challenges with other organizations. Gridiron is a program for everyone, but it may not be the right fit for everyone, and that is perfectly fine. While we celebrate our league champions, we also promote sportsmanship, personal development, and the smaller accomplishments that will lead to greater success in the next season. At Gridiron, we only utilize flag football. So, as we say, "It's Flag, Not Tag!" We do this for overall development, and to avoid unnecessary delays that could be caused by debating on whether or not a player was ruled down. We also have the ability for our athletes to run the ball, something you wont find in most leagues. You can also read about some of this year's notable victories at the links below.
