CoVantage Credit Union is celebrating International Credit Union Day® (ICU Day) on Thursday, October 15. This annual event highlights the role that financial cooperatives play in enhancing the communities they serve and improving the lives of their members. To help celebrate, both members and non-members are invited to stop by for cookies at our CoVantage branch locations on October 15.
“For over seven decades, CoVantage has had the privilege of serving members, improving their financial well-being, and strengthening the communities we call home,” said Lindsey Mueller, Director of Advocacy and Financial Education at CoVantage. “We are honored to be part of our members’ financial journeys and grateful they have chosen to be a part of ours.”
Credit unions are unique financial institutions because they are not-for-profit, member-owned cooperatives. Founded on the principle of “people helping people,” credit unions have embodied this philosophy for over a century, offering affordable financial products and striving to meet the needs of underserved communities.
We look forward to celebrating this special day with our communities!
