Shoppers can find budget-friendly deals on school items at Goodwill North Central Wisconsin

Across north central Wisconsin and beyond, back-to-school and back-to-college spending has begun. Out of concern for rising prices, two-thirds (67%) of back-to-school shoppers had already begun purchasing items for the upcoming school year as of early July, according to the annual survey by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics. The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction will host a free racewalking clinic to help walkers looking to improve their racewalking technique. Join us to celebrate the beginning of construction on a new 3,280-square-foot facility for the Shawano VFW Post 2723 in Shawano, WI. This new building will include a warming room for gatherings, an outdoor patio, and bi-folding partition walls to create flexible meeting spaces. It will also provide storage for essential equipment and supplies, office space, and accessible entrances and bathrooms for individuals with disabilities. The project is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2025.
