To help kids receive the best care and treatments,
participating DQ restaurants in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan will celebrate Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 30.
On Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating locations will be donated to Children’s Wisconsin and other local member hospitals of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). Miracle Treat Day is a national CMN fundraiser, and all donations raised stay in the community to help local kids. More than 70 DQ restaurants across Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan are participating this year. Now in its 41st year, the annual Miracle Treat Day raises not just funds, but also awareness for the 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across the United States and Canada.
Last year’s Miracle Treat Day raised nearly $33,000 for Children’s Wisconsin. This year’s goal is to raise $40,000 for the kids and families of Wisconsin.
“For more than two decades, Dairy Queen owners, employees and guests have shown an incredible commitment to supporting kids and families across Wisconsin,” said Meg Brzyski Nelson, president of the Children’s Wisconsin Foundation. “We look forward to Miracle Treat Day because it’s a delicious way to ensure that the families we serve can access the specialized care and resources they need for brighter futures.”
Since 2003, the Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula of Michigan DQs have raised more than $2.5 million for Children’s Wisconsin through fundraising efforts such as Dip It for Kids, Miracle Treat Day, Miracle Balloon campaigns, rounding up at the register and other local events.

Visit with the Waukesha Fire Department and a CMN Local Champion
The Waukesha Fire Department will be visiting the Waukesha Dairy Queen located at 1529 E. Racine Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186 on Thursday, July 30 from 1-3 p.m. Take a photo with your hero, tour the engine, learn about fire safety and meet 2026 CMN Local Champion Mary Schroeder. CMN Local Champions are powerful ambassadors for local children’s hospitals and Children’s Miracle Network. Mary, who recently completed treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, will be visiting with her dad, a Waukesha Fire Department team member.
