Leadership expert, emotional intelligence author and thought leader Bill Marklein will be speaking at iconic Lambeau Field on October 23. The full day seminar, Employ Humanity Leadership Day, brings leaders from businesses and organizations together at Lambeau Field to learn about using emotional intelligence for servant leadership, workplace culture and community impact. Marklein defines workplace culture as “how employees’ hearts and stomachs feel about Monday morning on Sunday night.”
“This is always an inspiring day and I enjoy seeing both the learning and networking,” said Marklein. “We are all called to be servant leaders in the workplace and beyond.” The event is open to the public across all industries. “We have people attend that have been in key leadership roles for years and also people attend that are younger emerging leaders,” said Marklein. “This event is truly for everyone looking to be the best they can be.” The October 23 event will be in the Lambeau Field 6th Floor Indoor Clubs that has spectacular views of Lambeau Field. Fox Cities Chamber members receive $125 off every registration fee by using discount code FCCMEMBER during online registration.
The learning material is based on Marklein’s emotional intelligence and human-connection research in graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and from his leadership development company, Employ Humanity. In 2024, Employ Humanity research discovered that 96% of professionals believe the best leaders have high emotional intelligence. “The research clearly shows that people want to be surrounded by emotional intelligence in the workplace. The great news is that anyone can develop their emotional intelligence to improve their relationships, their leadership, their mental health and their overall success in and outside the workplace,” said Marklein. “Excitingly, emotional intelligence can grow at any stage in life with the right attitude.”
With the acceleration of technology, many organizations are looking to develop human-only skills getting back to the fundamentals of human connection and leadership. Attendees will discover key skills of emotional intelligence including self-awareness, mindfulness, adaptability, attentive listening, empathy and a growth mindset. “By attending, you demonstrate a growth mindset,” said Marklein. Attendees will receive all training materials and a private tour of historic Lambeau Field including experiencing the players’ tunnel. Registration is now open at employhumanity.com and space is limited.
