Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Reaches Historic Milestone: 500,000 Students Impacted by Amcor Education Series

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is proud to announce a monumental achievement in its mission to support the growth of young people in Northeast Wisconsin: 500,000 students have now participated in the Amcor Education Series.

Since its inception in 2002, the series has served as a gateway to the arts, providing students from across Northeast Wisconsin with access to world-class live performances. From culturally diverse programming and curriculum-linked productions, the Amcor Education Series is a bridge between the stage and the classroom.

A Half-Million Moments of Wonder

The Amcor Education Series is designed to spark curiosity and foster community through educational arts experiences. By providing world-class matinee performances, the Center ensures that young people, regardless of their background or learning style, have the opportunity to experience the magic of the live performing arts.

"Education is a cornerstone of the work we do at your Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Through the Amcor Education Series, the next generation of engaged citizens and lifelong learners is able to learn, grow, and connect with one another through the live performing arts."

– Maria Van Laanen, President and CEO, Fox Cities Performing Arts Center

Partners in Progress

This milestone would not be possible without the sustained support of Amcor, the series' title sponsor. Their commitment to corporate citizenship and the local community has allowed the program to grow, evolve, and remain accessible to schools throughout the region.

"The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center does something truly special for our community’s students. By bringing the performing arts into education, the P.A.C. creates moments that spark imagination, curiosity, and confidence in young people. Reaching 500,000 students is an extraordinary milestone, and Amcor Cares is proud to support a program that helps inspire the next generation through the power of live performance and storytelling."

– Ethan Haas, Senior Vice President - Growth, Amcor Flexibles North America

Impact Beyond the Stage

The profound impact of the Amcor Education Series continues long after the final bow. For many of the 500,000 attendees, these performances represent their first encounter with the live performing arts, sparking conversations that continue in the classroom and beyond.

"Collaborating with the Center has been an amazing experience. The cross-curricular connections of the shows add another layer of learning to the artwork we produce. How special is it to have a venue in our community that puts on such amazing shows for our students, but also provides an opportunity for our students to collaborate with performers and take their artwork to the next level?"

– Elyse L., Appleton art educator

Thank you to Series Title Partner Amcor and Series Co-Partners Kimberly-Clark, Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, and Schneider for helping to bring the power of live performing arts to students across Northeast Wisconsin.
