RISE provides free, practical support for people who are preparing to enter, re-enter, or advance in the workforce. Workshops and coaching focus on skills people can use immediately, including résumé development, interview preparation, elevator pitches, professional online presence, career confidence, and responsible use of artificial intelligence during the job search.
The goal is to give people a supportive place to practice, ask questions, and receive honest feedback before an interview or important career decision. Many job seekers have valuable experience and strong potential but need help communicating what they can bring to an employer.
RISE is also working to develop a more consistent community-based presence where participants can access career resources, technology, workshops, referrals, and individualized support.
Another part of that growth is the RISE Opportunity Exchange, a developing employer-engagement initiative intended to help businesses share employment opportunities, connect with local job seekers, and support workforce-readiness programming in the community. Employer participation will help RISE keep services free and accessible for participants.
While Fox Cities RISE remains the organization’s primary focus, early planning is also underway for possible future RISE divisions in Green Bay, Central Wisconsin, and the Chippewa Valley. Those divisions are still in the relationship-building and development stages.
Fox Cities RISE welcomes connections with employers, community organizations, educators, workforce professionals, volunteers, and sponsors who want to help people build confidence and move toward meaningful employment.
