Future Neenah is excited to announce a special two-night Art Show Pop-Up featuring the work of local artist Emily Bennett, taking place October 14 & 15 from 6:00–8:00 PM at The Ballroom at The Reserve.
This inspiring showcase will highlight Bennett’s distinctive artistic style—intricate realism paired with joyful, vivid color palettes that capture the beauty of the natural world. Guests will experience a variety of works across mediums, from watercolor (her specialty) to colored pencil, acrylic, and digital art.
“I’m thrilled to partner with Future Neenah for this show,” says Bennett. “Art has been part of my life for 15 years, but only in the last three years have I really focused on developing it as a business.” Her creative venture, Detailed by Emily, has quickly become known for its vibrancy, detail, and emotional resonance.
While Bennett pours her passion into art, she balances it with a career teaching science at Neenah High School. “People are often surprised when they find out I don’t teach art,” she laughs. “But my science background really helps me as an artist. I use it to study my subjects more closely, to understand light, color, and texture on a deeper level.”
Her artistic voice is also shaped by her role as a house manager at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, where the creativity of the stage fuels her imagination. Over the years, Bennett has illustrated five children’s books, participated in regional fine art fairs, and built a steady following for her commissioned works—particularly her beloved pet portraits.
“Every animal has such a distinct personality. It’s incredibly rewarding to capture that uniqueness for someone,” she says.
The Art Show Pop-Up promises a welcoming atmosphere for both longtime fans and new admirers of Bennett’s work. Attendees will have the chance to meet the artist, explore her diverse portfolio, and even take home original pieces.
