The Board of Directors of the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) has unanimously appointed East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission Executive Director Melissa Kraemer Badtke to serve as Secretary on the six-member NADO Executive Committee.
Kraemer Badtke has served on the Board of Directors since 2024, bringing more than 20 years of local regional planning and coalition-building experience to the role. NADO represents a national network of more than 500 Regional Development Organizations (RDOs) across the country that provide regional planning and local community and economic development services.

Additionally, Kraemer Badtke engages with the national planning sector in roles with the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations-Technical Committee, Transportation Development Association Board and Audit Committee, and faculty for the Walkability Action Institute.
