Miller® today announced an $8.4 million expansion at its Precision Welding Solutions facility located at N822 Communication Drive. The project includes an approximately 17,400-square-foot addition and 7,500-square-foot renovation designed to support continued company growth, enhance service to customers and strengthen Miller’s long-standing presence in the local community.
The expansion will add customer experience and office space, including a new customer demonstration lab, upgraded equipment and technology, improved employee amenities, and expanded parking and site infrastructure. The project will bring together approximately 30 existing team members currently located across multiple facilities and provide capacity to support additional new positions as customer demand continues to grow.
“This expansion represents an important investment in our future,” said Sharon Szafranski, EVP, Welding Segment. “It enables us to better serve our customers, support our employees, and continue growing our business in the years ahead.” Construction is expected to begin September 14, 2026, with project completion targeted for July 31, 2027. The investment reflects Miller’s continued commitment to Appleton and the broader Fox Cities community. In addition to supporting new jobs, the project reinforces the company’s focus on long-term business growth, operational efficiency and customer-focused innovation.
The company celebrated the announcement with a groundbreaking event on August 20, bringing together company leaders, employees, community partners and project representatives to mark the milestone.
