With health insurance open enrollment underway, the Fox Cities Chamber is reminding local small businesses that they may be eligible for exclusive savings on group health insurance through its partnership with Network Health.
The Chamber's discounted group health insurance program is designed to help small and midsize employers manage rising health care costs while providing quality coverage for their employees. Available to businesses with 2 to 99 employees, the level-funded plans offer a 5% discount on base premiums, along with additional savings and benefits exclusively for eligible Chamber members.
"For many small businesses, providing affordable health insurance is one of their biggest challenges," said Becky Bartoszek, President and CEO of the Fox Cities Chamber. "We want our local employers to know they have options. Through our partnership with Network Health, we're helping businesses access competitive health insurance plans while reducing costs. It's another way the Chamber is working to make doing business in the Fox Cities easier."
The program offers several advantages for eligible employers, including:
- 5% off the base rate of any Network Health underwritten group product
- 3 months of credit on administrative fees
- $0 for first three PCP visits, per family member, then only $25 per visit
- $0 preventive care services
- $0 annual vision exam
- $0 virtual doctor visits (for some plans, the deductible must be met first)
- Plans with a deductible as low as $500 for a single, and $1,000 for a family
- Plus additional benefits, including prescription drug savings, wellness rewards and access to health management programs.
The discounted plans are available to Fox Cities Chamber members enrolling as new Network Health participants. Businesses at any Chamber membership level qualify, including those participating in the Chamber's Connect Free membership program, which requires an additional $250 fee to access the health insurance benefit.
Interested businesses should contact their current insurance broker or one of the Chamber's member insurance brokers to explore plan options, eligibility and potential savings. Businesses that are not currently Chamber members can join to take advantage of the program.
